The self cure is to provide a vent (prescient) such that the bottom of the cleft is open to the air 24/7. A scrub sponge of plastic carried in the cleft 24-7, tucked to the bottom serves well. I will send photos to you of refinements if you will send me your email in a comment like this.
A self cure? Is this anything like self taught brain surgery? I'll bet it has to do with a vent.
